Balasore Alloys Limited in collaboration with the Regional Office, State Pollution Control Board (SPCB), Balasore, organised a sapling distribution and plantation programme on 12 August 2026 at Gourpur Village and Government Gourpur UG UP School, Odisha.
A total of 1,500 saplings were distributed and planted with the participation of Balasore Alloys employees, SPCB officials, local residents and schoolchildren.
The initiative encouraged community participation in afforestation and environmental stewardship around the plant catchment area.
