Balasore Alloys, a leading ferroalloys unit in the country added more feathers in its cap by receiving two international awards. While the company received the international Business Excellence Award for its excellent production and business transparency, its Joint Managing Director Rabindra Kumar Jena was individually conferred with the Bharat Gourav Puraskar.

Jena received the award for the company from former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand Dr Karan Bhabbransi and the individual award from Pritish Nandi Communication, at a function held recently at Bangkok in Thailand that was jointly organized by the Indo-Thai Business Association and the Institute of Economic Studies.

Indian embassy official Tanmay Lal, MV Rajsekharan, Satish Saigal and VK Gupta were among several functionaries. The company situated at Balgopalpur in the district has earned many laurels within last four years in various fields.
