The Sambad Corporate Excellence Silver Award in large industries category was bestowed upon Balasore Alloys Ltd. at the "Brands of Odisha. Pride of India. Sambad Corporate Excellence Awards 2019" ceremony on 19.01.2019 in Bhubaneswar, Orissa State. Mr. Anil Sureka, Managing Director of the company received the prestigious award from the Chief Minister of Odisha Mr. Naveen Pattnaik in the presence of eminent personalities from industry and business. The Sambad Corporate Excellence Awards are instituted by Sambad Daily, part of Sambad Group to excel Orissa grown brands with distinguishable recognizability in the state and beyond.

"In the age of market economy and globalization both challenges and opportunities for corporate sector are among us. I commend their efforts", Chief Minister Mr. Pattnaik said in his address. Over  the last several  years Orissa has been the name for itself in the area of business and industry, he highlighted.

Mr. Anil Sureka expressed his delight over the recognition. He commented that Balasore Alloys, a major local employer has been a lead performer in provision of high carbon ferro chrome round the globe due to consistency in quality and high after sales service standards.
