Balasore Alloys Ltd. received the Certificate of Excellence for the year 2016-17 for export performance. The prestigious award of the Directorate of Export Promotion and Marketing Odisha, an institution which was established in promotion of quality & standardization of products and export activities of the state, was bestowed on the company whose wide product basket is on demand by stainless steel producers and allied industries for over three decades.

The certificate was presented by the Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises Department, Government of Odisha. The department was represented by the Hon'ble Minister of MSME, Government of Odisha, Mr Prafulla Kumar Samal, the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Odisha, Mr. LN Gupta and the IAS Director of Industry Mr. Nath who bestowed it on Balasore Alloys Ltd. at a function held in Bhubaneswar on 11th October 2018.
