Senior delegates from Balasore Alloys Ltd. have attended the International Ferroalloy Conference 2018 which took place on 5th -7th September 2018 in Gurgaon, Delhi. The event was hosted by the Indian Ferro Alloy Producers’ Association (IFAPA) representing the manufacturers of bulk ferroalloys in the country. Experts from the Marketing department of Balasore Alloys Ltd., one of India’s integrated downstream facilities producing High Carbon Ferrchrome had the opportunity to join professional discussions over strategic dynamics in the international context of steel industry development and their impact over the Indian perspectives in terms of ferroalloy demand and supply.
Some of the essential accents particularly referred the potential of domestic Ferroalloy industry, stainless steel sector growth prospective with relevant significance of technology in both. Mr. Manish Sarda, Chairman of IFAPA highlighted in detail some of the challenges to ferroalloys production process. Shri Chaudhary Birender Singh, Minister of Steel, Govternment of India, addressed the key issues, featured in the course of the discussion.
