Balasore Alloys Ltd. was bestowed the Star Performer Award for Export Excellence for the year 2016-17 in the product group  of Ferro alloys, Large Enterprise on a national basis.

The award which was instituted by Engineering Exports Promotion Council (EEPC), Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry was  handed over at the 49th EEPC National Award Presentation Function 2016-17 by Mr C.R. Chaudhary, Honorable Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Government of India in the presence of Ms. Rita Teaotia, Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Mr. B.S. Bhalla, Jt Secreary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

 

With sound experience since 1984 in producing Silicon metal, Ferro Silicon, Ferro Manganese and Silico Manganese before tailoring High Carbon Ferro Chrome since 2002-03, Balasore Alloys Ltd. is the only ferrochrome manufacturer to have been excelled with the Star Performer Award this year. Mr. V.K. JODHANI (PRESIDENT-CRM) received the prestigious award on behalf of Balasore Alloys Ltd. team and expressed convenience in company’s determination towards growing market presence over high quality products.

In 2016-17 the company exported 125380 tonnes of ferrochrome to USA, EUROPE, LATIN AMERICA, JAPAN, KOREA, TAIWAN, CHINA etc . The brand has earned traditionally strong acceptance on  NORTH AMERICA, EUROPE continents, & the important steel producing countries like JAPAN, KOREA, TAIWAN, CHINA etc...
